April Acosta, our founder, built the business on years of experience working directly with county reviewers, inspectors, and enforcement departments. April is well-known throughout Collier County for her reliable service and approachable, detail-oriented style that helps projects move forward without unnecessary delays.

April’s permitting career began in 2016, where her frequent interactions with county officials quickly established her as a trusted name. In 2018, she advanced to a marine contracting company as purchasing manager, overseeing the permitting department. That role gave her the opportunity to streamline processes, balance multiple priorities, and serve clients with professionalism—skills she now applies to her own clients. Recognizing her reputation and expertise, a colleague encouraged her to launch her own permitting service. That encouragement turned into a reality, and today Permitting Service of Collier is dedicated to supporting local residents and businesses with their permitting needs.

April’s vision is to grow the company into a full-service permitting team, offering complete support in all aspects of permitting, while maintaining the same personal attention and integrity that earned her the trust of the community.

Raised in Naples since infancy, April comes from a family of hardworking parents who instilled values of discipline, structure, and perseverance. She is a proud graduate of Lely High School (2003) and holds an associate’s degree in Graphic Design from Southwest Florida College (2005). Outside of business, she is a dedicated mother of two boys and deeply connected to her Southwest Florida roots.
